The Southern History Society is holding its biennial conference, ‘The Experience of Garrison Towns in Southern England’ on Saturday 4th November 2023 at the University of Winchester.
Abstracts are invited for papers that cover any aspect of economic, cultural, social or military life in army or naval towns from the early medieval period to the present day.
